In addition to all the normal services offered in the interest of care and comfort of residents, Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn has arranged for the visit of several services, which help maintain a high quality of life.

Chiropody - Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn receives a regular visit from local chiropodist. Further unscheduled visits can be arranged as required for the benefit residents.

Hairdressing - Fully qualified hairdressing staff visit Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn on a regular, weekly basis. This enables residents to enjoy a 'hair do' in the comfort and convenience of their own surroundings.

Library - A library service delivers a selection of books to Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn. Residents are free to borrow books as they wish. The Selection of books is changed every six weeks.

Dental Care - A local Dentist visits Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn on a regular basis. The dentist is, of course, available as required to provide full dental care.

Visiting Shop - Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn receives a weekly visit from a "Mobil Shop". The shop carries a wide range of items and will provide "virtually anything" at a week notice.

Newspapers - Daily newspapers of the resident's choice are delivered. Arrangements are also made for other reading material, such as journals and magazines, to be delivered to Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn.
