Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn is a privately owned company specialising in providing care and accommodation for the elderly.Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn's unique policies allow the elderly to enjoy the benefits of a special community, whilst also enjoying the security and attention of our highly trained and dedicated staff.

The Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn property has been designed, refurbished and equipped with the mobility and convenience of the elderly in mind. Bright and spacious bedrooms have been attractively and tastefully furnished. Each bedroom boasts a sophisticated call system, which receives an immediate response, thus giving residents, 'total peace of mind'. All bedrooms have telephone and television points, allowing total privacy, if required. Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn positively encourages personal effects in bedrooms, so that residents further enhance their feeling of having 'a home from home'. The majority of bedrooms are singles, but Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn also has double bedrooms available.

Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn places great emphasis on giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the company of other residents. Bright and airy lounges are cheerfully decorated; a range of comfortable and practical furniture is always available to accommodate each individual\rquote s requirements. The lounges become the focal point where residents can read, converse or merely relax. Group social activities are popular amongst residents who are welcome, indeed encouraged, to take part.

Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn is particularly proud of its culinary reputation. Well balanced, wholesome and imaginative menus are carefully prepared to ensure that residents enjoy a varied and healthy diet. Special dietary requirements present no problem; meals can be prepared to meet a resident's needs.

At Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn, visits to residents by friends and relatives are welcomes and encouraged. There is no restriction on visiting times. Management and staff wish residents to feel as comfortable and relaxed as they would in their own homes with their families around them. It is this special understanding of the elderly that allows so many of the Cartref Ael-Y-Bryn residents to enjoy a long and happy stay. Residents may also go out with Relatives and Friends.
